I personally was waiting for Chet to get the Survivor torch snuff for weeks. I guess he wasn’t quite as dumb as he looks, because he did stay on for quite awhile longer than anyone expected he would. In an interview with Reality News Online, Chet explains how his strength was never physical, but in outwitting people. Furthermore, he reveals that his foot was much worse than the show led on to be - also getting looked at by the medics, who suggested that he too should depart.
