The new merged tribe was feeling each other out, trying to decide who to trust and who was a threat.
Â
Not sure if this was a strategic move or what Bob was thinking, but he showed Sugar the fake idol. Sugar admitted that it was good, and should fool people. They made an agreement to try and vote out Randy.
Â
Meanwhile, Corinne and Randy agree to keep their alliance solid. They think they have Bob on their side, and they are going to work to try and sway Matty to join them.
Â
Tree Mail arrives with an envelope for each of them; their money for the Survivor auction. Each Survivor has $500 for the auction. They cannot share any item they buy, and they cannot share money.
Â
The first item, of beer and peanuts, sells for $180 to Randy. The next item is covered, and sells for $340 to Kenny. Once revealed, his purchased item is a note, which instructs him that he can either go to Exile himself and give one of the other Survivors his remaining money; or he can send someone else to Exile and take their money. Kenny chooses to send Bob back to Exile and take his money.
Â
The next item, also covered, sells to Sugar for $340. It is chocolate and peanut butter, which is exactly what she wanted. Susie buys a hot bath and clean clothes for $340.  A hamburger, fries and soda goes to Matty for $400. Randy buys another covered item for $280; it is spaghetti, garlic bread and wine. Corinne buys a clue which will give her an advantage at the next immunity challenge, for $500.
Â
Randy buys the final item of the auction for $20, which he is instructed to share with the rest of the tribe. It is a plate of chocolate chip cookies. Sugar refuses her cookie, asking that it be given to Matty. Randy won’t do that, and Sugar still refuses. When there is only one cookie left, Randy again offers it to Sugar, and this time she accepts, immediately giving it to Matty. This sets Randy off on a tirade that lasts until they go to Tribal Council.
Â
Randy was annoying everyone at camp, and Matty told him to drop the attitude. He didn’t, of course.
Â
At Exile, Bob again chose clue, thinking that it was for another hidden idol, and not the same clues that he had followed previously. Once he received the clue he realized his error.
Â
Both Corinne and Randy are convinced that Bob has found the idol on Exile. Randy tells Corinne that he is going to continue to annoy everyone and then get Bob to give him the idol. Then, at Tribal, when everyone else votes Randy out, Randy will play the idol, and the person with the next highest votes will be out. Randy, Corinne, and Bob vote Susie, and Susie is out. Great plan if it works.
Â
At the Immunity Challenge, tribe mates have to race across a balance beam and collect bags of puzzle pieces. The first two to get their puzzle pieces back to their mat will advance to the next round. For the second round, the two who advance have to place their puzzle pieces along the beam like dominos, and once they are all placed, knock them over so that a domino train falls along the beam. Once it reaches the end of the beam, it should knock a ball off and raise their flag. First one to do so wins immunity.
Â
Corinne’s advantage that she purchased in the auction entitles her to sit out the first round and advance to the final round against the two who win the first round.
Â
Matty and Kenny are the first two back with all their puzzle pieces, so they advance to the final round against Corinne. After several attempts at getting the pieces lined up just so, Kenny wins the round and immunity.
Â
Back at camp, Sugar tells Bob that if Randy asks for the idol, to give it to him. Corinne also told Bob to give the idol to Randy, although Corinne doesn’t know it’s fake. Bob gives Randy the fake idol, letting him believe it’s real.
Â
At Tribal Council, the drama with the cookies is brought up. I don’t think Jeff or the jury can believe that Randy was making such a big deal out of that. Everyone votes, and Jeff makes his normal statement that if anyone has the idol they should play it now. Sugar is about to lose it when Randy hands Jeff the idol. Randy and Corinne can’t believe it when Jeff says it’s fake and throws it into the fire. All votes for Randy will count.
Â
Votes are tallied, and it’s 3 votes for Susie and 5 votes for Randy. Randy is out, finally. At least he can’t speak on the jury, until the end. I feel sorry for Charlie and Marcus, having to deal with him at Ponderosa.
