After Tribal Council, Matty was pissed that he got three votes. Ken was confused as to why Corinne didn’t play the idol. Bob had to confess to Ken that the idol was fake. Bob told Ken that he’d give him the immunity necklace if he (Bob) won it in the next challenge.
For the Reward Challenge, Survivors had to race through the swamp and an obstacle course, retrieve a ball and then go back through the course and shoot at a basket until they got the ball in the basket. Then they had to repeat the process until someone got three balls in their basket. First Survivor to get three baskets would win the reward.
Reward this time was a trip to a gorilla sanctuary, complete with a meal, a shower, and a good night’s sleep. The person winning reward would also get to send someone to Exile.
After a close race between Matty, Ken and Bob, Bob won the challenge. He got to choose two people to go on the reward with him. He chose Crystal and Ken. He selected Susie to go to Exile, leaving Matty and Sugar to head back to camp.
At the reward, Bob told Ken that he would give him immunity if he won, but only if he felt like Ken was going to be voted out at Tribal. If not, he would keep it.
At Exile, even though Susie was given the choice of clue or comfort, she chose comfort since she knew that Sugar had the hidden idol.
Back at camp, Matty tried to talk Sugar into giving him the idol, since he figured he would be the one going home if he didn’t win immunity. Sugar didn’t appear eager to do that.
At the Immunity Challenge, Survivors had to climb through a series of ropes and retrieve three bags of puzzle pieces, and use those pieces to recreate a tribal mask. They had to do this solely by touch, as each castaway was blindfolded. The Survivors each had a different strategy, with some collecting all their bags before assembling, others trying to put pieces in places one bag at a time, and others never finding their way along the course.
Winning his fourth challenge in a row, Bob assembled his mask correctly before anyone else, securing his spot in the final five. That is, if he didn’t give the necklace to Ken like he said.
Ken wasn’t feeling very sure that Bob would give him the necklace, but he sure hoped so, because his plan wouldn’t work if Bob didn’t give up immunity. Ken wanted to blindside Bob and vote him out if he gave up the necklace.
Ken made the mistake of telling everyone in camp, except Bob, what his plans were. Sugar told Bob what Kenny was planning.
This was also the last Tribal where Sugar could play her idol, so she planned to do so, even though she didn’t feel threatened.
At Tribal, Ken brought up the fact that Bob had promised to give him the necklace. Bob countered, saying that he later told Ken he’d give him the necklace if he felt like Ken was being targeted. In the end, Bob kept the necklace for himself.
After the votes were cast and Jeff asked if anyone had the hidden idol, Sugar gave it to Matty to play. So, all votes against Matty didn’t count, and Crystal was voted out.
