Meet Jerry Sims

Forty-nine year old Jerry Sims is a Sergeant with the US Army National Guard; recently returned from Afghanistan. He works in a nuclear power plant in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He is one of ten children, has been married for 25 years, and has two grown children. He’s laid back and easy going, and should be able to get along with his tribe easily, being used to living with diverse groups of strangers.

Although Jerry is the second oldest Survivor this season, I think he is going to be a force to be reckoned with. He has charm and personality, he is physically fit and mentally strong, and he has got a strong military background. While he’s a leader in the National Guard, he doesn’t want to be a leader in the game. He is happy to stay in the background and do what is needed to win.
