Jeff Probst Thoughts on Tocantins Cast

Jeff Probst, host of Survivor, weighs in with his thoughts on this season’s contestants.

He says that this will be a completely different season from Gabon, as there are so many likable castaways this season. He says this is a fun cast.

Tyson is one of Jeff’s favorites this season. Jeff says Tyson has Richard Hatch’s diabolical mind.

Deb is one of the oldest contestants this season, but she doesn’t look her age. She is very fit.

Spencer may overthink the game since he’s been a fan for so long and knows the show inside and out. Spencer would have been on Survivor: Micronesia Fans Vs. Favorites but he wasn’t old enough.

Sandy will be voted off early. She’s likable, but too old.

Jeff believes JT will get flirted with by the girls.

He thinks Joe will get compared to Colby as he is a likable, good-looking guy. Joe should last a long time.

Carolina is tough and will be in the middle of the pack.

Stephen will have a hard time fitting in. The majority of the contestants this season are young and hip. Stephen will be an outsider.

Taj will have her work cut out for her. People use success to get rid of other contestants, so her being married to an ex-NFL player may work against her. Her smile will only take her so far.

Jeff is on the fence about Erinn. She will need to make a good first impression as a worker or she will fade early.

Sierra is one of Jeff’s favorites. She’s sassy. She will either dig deep and stay, or she will fade early.

Jerry is just lovable. He is very mature and has a “who needs my help” attitude.

Candace may fall victim to not being as strong as she needs to be in competitions. The heat and the bugs might get to her. She needs to prove that she’s a warrior and not a princess.

Brendan has business skills that will work on Survivor but he needs to overcome if people find out he’s successful, otherwise he’ll go fast.

Benjamin is one of the most fascinating people to ever be on Survivor. He’s very full of himself. He’s like Richard has was, in that he believes he’s one of the best. Jeff says he likes Benjamin, but wouldn’t want his sister to date him.

Sydney will be in the middle of the pack unless she breaks the cycle of hot blondes on the show. Every single time there is a hot blonde on the show she fades quickly.
