When Timbira returned from tribal council Erinn felt the need to tell the tribe that the only reason she was hanging out with Candace was to find out what she was up to.

The next day, Timbira is eating their beans and rice but it doesn’t set well with Jerry.  His stomach is upset and he’s sure that it’s because of the beans.

At Jalapao, even though they got the fishing equipment at the last challenge, they aren’t quite sure how to use it.  Once they figure it out, they catch minnows to use as bait.

The tribes head to their first reward challenge.  Six members of each tribe are blindfolded and tied together in pairs.  The remaining tribe member will be the caller, directing the pairs through a maze.  Each pair has to retrieve a bucket and then fill the bucket with either water or corn from a tower.  The caller would then direct each pair to a trough, where they would empty their bucket.  The tribes had to fill both their troughs and raise two tribal flags to win reward.

The reward was chairs, blankets and pillows.

Joe called for Jalapao and Debbie called for Timbira.  Jalapao worked well together, following Joe’s instructions, and won the reward.  Jalapao also got to select someone from Timbira to go to Exile, and they again chose Brendan.  Brendan got to choose a member of Timbira to accompany him, and once again he chose Taj.

At Exile, Brendan and Taj once again were faced with two urns.  This time, Taj’s urn had the clue, which she shared with Brendan. The new clue confirmed their belief that the idol was at their camps.  Taj and Brendan also concocted a plan that involved one other member from each of their tribes.

At Timbira, Coach asked everyone not to go off and talk with others, while he went off with Tyson.  Coach told Tyson that he wanted him to be his ‘assistant coach’.

The tribes  head to the Immunity Challenge, where two tribe members at a time would race out to retrieve a crate.  After six crates were retrieved, the tribes had to build a staircase using the crates, and spell out their tribe name.  After building the staircase, the entire tribe had to race to the top and raise their flag.  Tribes are neck and neck until it comes to building the staircase, when Jalapao pulls ahead and wins immunity.

Back at the Timbira camp,  Jerry is feeling very ill.  Brendan wanders off by himself to search for the hidden idol, which he discovers at the Tree Mail site.  Coach tries to convince the rest of the tribe to vote for Erinn at Tribal Council.

At Tribal Council, a leader is discussed.  The tribe thinks their leader should be Brendan, but Coach feels that he himself is the most qualified.  Jeff tells Coach that he has an ego problem.

The tribe votes, and contrary to what Coach wanted, Jerry is voted out.
