Stephen and Taj look for the hidden immunity idol at Jalapao together.  Taj is pretty sure that it’s hidden at Tree Mail, and that’s exactly where they find it.  They decide that Stephen should hold on to the idol because he can hide it in his pocket; and besides, they figure the rest of the tribe will be looking at Taj to have it. Stephen takes the idol and indicates that since he now has it, he plans to keep it.

At Timbira, Sierra gets mad at Brendan for not telling her of the plan for the alliance.  Brendan apologizes, saying he didn’t get a chance to talk to her before the last reward challenge.

At this week’s Reward challenge, one tribe member has to sit on a platform while another tribe member spins them by unwinding a rope attached to the platform.  Once the rope is completely unwound, the dizzy member has to cross a balance beam to the finish line.  The first team across the finish line scores a point, and three points wins reward.

Reward is a trip to the Charmin Cafe, where there is coffee, pastries, a real toilet, and plenty of Charmin toilet paper.  The team that wins reward gets to also send someone from the losing tribe to Exile.  That person will choose someone from the winning tribe to join them.  The winning tribe member who goes to Exile does not get to participate in the reward.

Jalapao scores three points first and wins the reward.  They choose Brendan to go to Exile.  Instead of choosing Taj as he has in the past, Brendan choose Stephen to join him on Exile.

The rest of the Jalapao tribe is enjoying their reward, especially Taj.  This is the first tribal reward that she has gotten to take part in.  While they are eating their pastries, JT discovers letters from home for everyone on the tribe.

At Exile, Brendan and Stephen are getting to know each other, but Stephen declares that he doesn’t know Brendan well enough to trust him.

At Timbira, Tyson begins to catch on to Brendan’s plan, stating that Brendan is becoming too close to the other tribe.

The tribes are reunited for the Immunity Challenge.  Two members of each tribe will  alternate in launching a ball toward the rest of the tribe members, who are standing in a water course.  The other tribe members will try to catch the launched balls, while trying to keep the balls away from the other tribe.  The first tribe to catch 5 balls from either set of launchers will will immunity.  Stephen and Sydney are the ball launchers for Jalapao, with Erinn and Debbie launching for Timbira. JT scores the first two points for Jalapao, followed by Brendan scoring two points for Timbira. JT then scores another point for Jalapao, and knocks out a tooth. He then quickly scores another point, putting Jalapao ahead 4 to 2.  Tyson then scores 2 more points for Timbira, making it a tie game for the second time.  Tyson then scores another point,  and Timbira wins immunity.

At Jalapao’s camp, Taj shares her frustrations in talking about who they plan to vote out, saying that every time they make a decision at camp, it turns out differently at Tribal Council. This time, the tribe decides it will either be Taj or Spencer who will be voted out- Taj, because of her outburst and Spencer because of his performance at the immunity challenge.

At tribal council, Joe tells everyone he will feel better if Taj looks him in the eye and tells him that she does not have the hidden idol.  She does, and Joe tells Jeff he believes her.  In the end, Spencer Duhm is the fifth person voted out of Survivor: Tocantins.
